(Global Headquarters: Toyohashi-city, Aichi, Japan), announces it has received UL810A certification from UL Solutions for its Hybrid SuperCapacitors (HSC). This international third-party testing and certification will help accelerate the market deployment of Musashi’s Hybrid SuperCapacitors in North America.
Musashi Energy Solutions worked with UL Solutions to obtain scientifically backed third-party certification for its CPQ3300SD and CPQ3301SD (3000 farads) and CPP4100SA and CPP4101SA (3800 farads) prismatic cells.
Musashi is at the forefront of developing energy storage systems specifically designed for Uninterruptible Power Systems (UPSs). These cutting-edge solutions aim to address the growing demand for higher power in data centers, driven by the exponential increase in global data volume.
Brief power outages in data centers can have serious consequences resulting in data loss, critical service disruptions, and hardware damage. Musashi’s HSC systems offer many benefits over battery-based backup power solutions, including a long 15-year life, no thermal runaway compared to lithium-ion batteries (LiBs), and no toxic lead acid.
