BATTLE CREEK, Mich. – July 9, 2026 – Musashi Energy Solutions (MES), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Musashi Seimitsu Industry Co., Ltd. (MSI), is pleased to announce the appointment of Bob Myers as Chief Technology Officer (CTO).
Based at the company’s new R&D facility in Austin, Texas, Myers will report directly to Musashi executive leadership and work in close coordination with MES teams in both North America and Japan to advance new project development activities.
Myers brings an exceptional 45-year track record in power electronics systems to Musashi. For the past 15 years, his work has centered specifically on the architecture, design, and deployment of high-performance electrochemical energy storage systems. Prior to joining Musashi, Myers held key leadership and technical roles at Astec, Emerson Network Power, IBM,and, most recently, Flex Ltd.
